Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WeTime mobile application ("Service") operated by WeTime ("we," "our," or "us"). By using WeTime you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use WeTime. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement. WeTime is designed for use by couples — two people who agree to use the app together.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. One subscription covers both partners in a couple — each partner must create their own account.

3. Partner Pairing

WeTime requires pairing with one partner to use core features. By pairing with a partner you agree that:

• Certain data including session history, streaks, and routines will be shared with your partner
• Either partner may unpair at any time from within the app
• Upon unpairing, shared data is archived for 90 days then permanently deleted
• You will not pair with someone without their knowledge and consent

4. Subscriptions and Billing

WeTime offers a free trial period followed by a paid subscription. Subscriptions are processed through Apple's in-app purchase system.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods except where required by law
• Prices may change with reasonable notice
• One active subscription grants access for both partners in a couple

5. App Blocking

WeTime may use Apple's Screen Time and FamilyControls framework to block selected apps during sessions. By enabling this feature you acknowledge that:

• App blocking requires your explicit permission
• Blocked apps will be inaccessible during active sessions
• WeTime is not responsible for any consequences resulting from app blocking during sessions
• You can disable app blocking at any time in Settings

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use WeTime for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access another user's account or data
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the app
• Use WeTime to harass, abuse, or harm another person
• Pair with someone without their knowledge and consent
• Attempt to circumvent the app blocking or session features

7. Intellectual Property

WeTime and all its content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. Disclaimers

WeTime is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will improve your relationship. WeTime is a tool — results depend on how you and your partner use it.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WeTime shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time in Settings. Upon termination, your personal data will be deleted within 30 days.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via push notification or email. Continued use of WeTime after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules.
